I started my adventure from the main station at Suntec shopping mall. There are buses available for both routes departing every 15-20 minutes. The red line buses start from 08:30 am to 18:30 pm and the yellow line buses from 09:40 am to 5:15 pm.
First I decided to take the City Bus Route. I stopped at the world’s largest observation wheel – the Singapore Flyer. I contemplated the awesome views from this incredible and modern attraction at 165 meters high. I also stopped at the Lush Hotel Marina Bay and went to the top floor to take a drink with all Singapore at your feet.
Then I visited several museums, emblematic buildings, luxury hotels and famous shopping streets.
The bus continued its route through the splendid Singapore financial center. During this route, I also opted to visit the famous Botanic Gardens of Singapore: such an amazing place to relax from the busy city.
Finally I arrived to the main station, where I switched for the other line to experience the heritage bus route.
I visited the most historical places of Singapore. I found very interesting to discover the ethnic neighborhoods of Singapore.
I felt totally in love with Little India. I had the impression that I just arrived in another country. The huge and modern buildings transformed into small colorful houses with a lot of street shops, Hindu temples… a very authentic place.
Following the route, I made a stop at China Town where I found a lot of Chinese shops, restaurants and a beautiful Chinese temple.
I would say that this bus tour is a really good option to discover Singapore and enjoy every place.
