The horse stables are located in Yeh Gangga Beach in the North of the beautiful Tanah Lot Temple (West side of Bali).
This is a lovely place owned by an Australian woman, Natalie, who has been taking care of horses for many years. She is really dedicated to her horses: “my staff works full day, every day, so our horses are really high-maintenance”. She practices natural horsemanship (how to communicate with the horses, how they communicate between each other…) and her horses are only fed naturally. This is really nice to see someone so passionate and doing such a good job with animals.
After a quick introduction on horse riding, I have been presented to Diana, a beautiful horse mare.
Being a total beginner, I was very excited to finally ride a horse. Diana was very calm and the staffs made me feels very comfortable. My foot in the saddles, we headed to Yeh Gangga Beach, only 2 minutes from the stables. The black sand and the impressive waves really make the charm of this place. There were people fishing, kids playing in the water, group of friends gathering.
I enjoyed a lot the ride: the place is just so beautiful and peaceful.
I recommend this activity for all nature & animal lovers.
