The day started early, the driver picked us up from our house at 7.30 am and drove us at the port.

We were welcomed by their staff with delicious refreshments: they served us fresh fruit drinks and gave us a maritime map of the trip while waiting.

When all the passengers arrived (a friendly group of 12 persons), we got on board the catamaran. The catamaran boat was very luxury, large and really comfortable: sun and shaded areas. While leaving Benoa, breakfast was served: coffee, tea and french pastries.

We started sunbath on the deck while the rest of the passengers were chilling in the lounge area at rear of the boat.

We arrived at Lembongan island in their beautiful beach club, turquoise water, white sand beach… just a paradise.

A small glass-bottom boat brought to the beach club. On the way, we could see so many fishes.

We went to the swimming pool of the beach club for a quick swim to freshen up. An hour later, we went by boat for a snorkeling trip in another beautiful cove, famous for its marine life.

It was the perfect activity to view the colorful and fascinating world just beneath the ocean’s surface. We saw amazing fishes and corals!

After an hour of snorkeling, we came back to the resort were a lunch was prepared. A big buffet of local foods: noodles, rice, BBQ, salads, fruits… It was served with beer or wine, soft drinks and water.

In the afternoon, we had the choice between going to discover the village or sunbathe and swim in the beach club.

We did a tour of seaweed farms and the famous underground houses. A small trip in a truly traditional environment.

I was so relaxed by the end of the day that I felt asleep in the lounge on the return journey.
