I have spent quite some times in Thailand trying to spot sweet and nice activities to do for eOasia.com.
One of the first thing you asked yourself when you look at organizing your trip in Thailand is to find the right spot, the right “Koh”.
“Koh” simply means means “Island” in Thai and they are hundreds of them in the Gulf of Siam and the Andaman Sea. Most of them were inhabited before foreigners and tourists attracted by the beauty of them started to visit them.
The most famous are KohSamui, Koh Tao (especially for well-known as a dive spot), KohPhangan (internationally know for its Full Moon party) and Koh Phi Phi (James Bond islands).
But between you and me, I have done already most of them and my favorite is KohLipe, close to Langkawi: small, not yet famous, beautiful snorkeling and diving spots.
Keep it for yourself!
Check the picture below. There is no airport and no peer in KohLipe, so when you arrive, the only way to land is with the noisy long tail. If you are coming from Langkawi (Malaysia) the customs are located in a small house on the beach (on the right side of the picture).
One of the most famous spot to stay in Thailand is Phuket, you can easily reach some of the nicest islands in Thailand, Kho Phi Phi is just an one hour per boat. You can also do some nice activities, just check on ehohasia. There are more than 80 different activities to do in Phuket: Surf, Snorkeling, Fishing, Trekking, cycling and even Zorbing!
